Flora

I have never been a big fan of flowers, bees and grass, but with my new 50mm 1.8 II lens, it's really opened my eyes to the beauty of shadows, colours and foreground. My parent's definition of gardening is to buy ready made pots of plants so I've just been experimenting on them. Here are the smallest roses.

I was never a fan of haze in a photo, but I think in some contexts it just works really well.

Something as small as this can capture such focus on a photograph

This one is my favourite of them all, the way the sunrise light hits so naturally on the petals, leaves and background. No editing done on this, it's all natural, just the way I like it.
Photography is like science for art, it's so fun experimenting!
